Just outside Litchfield by the Sea is the Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, a multi-use paved trail that runs along the U.S. Highway 17 corridor and stretches for 18 miles north toward Huntington Beach State Park and Murrells Inlet.
This bikeway is perfect for longer rides, brisk walks, running, or cycling with scenic marsh, woodland, and coastal views of the long, narrow peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Waccamaw River that includes Pawleys Island, Litchfield, and Murrells Inlet.
